Editorial policy

How we write, check and correct what we publish.

Who publishes

Articles on this site are published by Raeven Company LTD, Abuja, Nigeria. Sether is our product, so we have a commercial interest in privacy for AI. Every comparison or analysis that mentions Sether says so, and we name competing and free alternatives where they fit the reader's problem.

Each article names its author, links to their profile on our about page, and shows when it was published and when it last changed substantially.

How stories are labelled

Research
Original findings from our own testing or security work, with the method, versions and data needed to reproduce them.
Analysis
What a specific new event, such as a regulation or an incident, means for people sending data to AI. Linked to the primary source.
Announcement
A material Sether release or company development, with the version, date and changelog.
Guide
Evergreen how-to and explainer articles, kept current as products and rules change.

How claims are checked

  • Figures link to their primary source. When a source is weak or single, we say so.
  • Test results state the software version, the configuration and the data used, and we publish the code or fixtures when we can.
  • Examples use fictional data and documented test values, never real people's personal data.
  • Security findings in other people's software are reported to the maintainers first, and published after a fix or an agreed disclosure date.
  • AI tools may help with drafting, code and editing. The named author checks every claim, example and result before publishing and is responsible for it.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it and add a dated note to the article saying what changed. Cosmetic edits do not change an article's date. To report a mistake, email emorylebo@gmail.com with the article link and what is wrong.
